Are you Trolling me?

Troll has become the new name on the internet. However, some people have mistakenly used this with people they know, either in work, or in personal life. 

I remember the word Troll from those Troll Dolls. Dolls with long hair and in different colors. 

The reason of why you can't use this with people you know is because usually Trolls are people who you don't know!

One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue.

All of the definitions points to people on the internet.  On the internet you don't know the person you talk to. If you did, you'd be talking to them on Viber or on Skype! Not on a message board....
