Wasted

When you say "Beer Without Vodka Is Like Wasted Money", in English, wasted is okay to use. However in Russian because this is part of a phrasal verb, you would use выброшенные.

Wasted simply means to discard something that could of been used properly. Like good food thrown in the trash. "The food went to waste."

Also to describe someone who is drunk, we can also use the word "Wasted"

For example

"Look at that guy, he looks wasted"

Think of a guy in the middle of the night walking in curve lines to ATB store to buy beer. That is wasted!
